MGM Group has set up a Grid Interactive Solar PV Power Generation Plant of 1000 kWp[1MWp] capacity under RPSSGP guidelines of Ministry of New & Renewable Energy ( MNRE ) , as a part of Govt. of India's 'Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission 2010' .

The performance of the Solar PV Power Plant and daily power generation details are being recorded through a scada system as per MNRE guidelines , and the generation data is being fed to the web enabled portal of MNRE .

Situated at Ugratara under village Patrapada( blockTangi) in Khurda district of Odisha , the Solar Power Plant is a part of MGM Greens , a 25 acre developed greenscape with floriculture greenhouses , planted gardens , and water bodies making it an environmentally harmonious and energy efficient  artistic landscape.

The group is in the process of setting up more solar power projects in other parts of the state of Odisha.
